The Arsenal team, led by leading scorer Ryan McAllister and MVP Quinton Pepper, went 7-0 to win the 2019 College Open Chowder Cup Championship.
In addition to Pepper and Mcallister, who play for St. Mary's GOJHL and Prince George BCHL respectively, Arsenal D Bryce Kilbourne (Oakville OJHL) and Seth Monkhouse (Burford PJCHL) were also named to the tournament all star team.
In a dominant performance, the Arsenal team went 7-0 in Boston, scored first in every game and were never tied from start to finish, scoring 35 goals and allowing only 6 in 7 games.
Cameron Bauer (Nichols Prep) and Pepper tied for the team lead with 6 goals each, while Mcallister led the team in points as he has in each tournament this spring/summer. Both Monkhouse and Owen Say (Komoka Kings GOJHL) were outstanding in net for the team.
It was the conclusion of the Arsenal team's most successful season in years, winning the Niagara Bauer Challenge, Michigan Pre Draft, and Chowder Cup tournaments, with a combined record of 20-1 in those tournaments.
